I'm following up our morning notes with egg on my face. I had never used my IM before - all my contacts use regular e-mail. After getting your note, I rushed through a few quick tutorials on how to communicate with IM, and gave it a try - at least we got signed in with each other. After sending some failed IM's, I knew I did something wrong, so I called support services. Turned out I didn't have it installed yet for Internet Explorer. They walked me through, but installed their "newer" version with voice included, and I knew I was destined for more tutorials. But I gave it an initial shot, and that's when I talked with you briefly. Sure was good to hear the sound of your voice after those frustrating couple of hours I spent.
Then the troubles started, with all kinds of menacing messages popping up on my screen. I finally gave up troubleshooting and just deleted the IM program so that my computer would work again. As soon as my "hate-tech-stuff" attitude calms down, I will try another install. I will also get my microphone hooked up and the proper charts put in menu so that I will be ready to roll.
I don't know when this will happen - I'm just HOPING I can MAKE it happen. I would so much like to follow some of your trades with you. I remember when you did that for another of our members a year or two ago......I think it was Steve. Sounded exciting!
