I found myself nodding my head in aggreement when I read that.

A number of years ago, I earned a living as a piano tuner. If you are familiar with the musical scale, you have C, C#, D, D#, etc., and there are numerous ways to arrive at those intervals with little more than a single tuning fork, a good set of ears. It reminds me of Dr. Seuss' book "The Starbellied Sneeches" just a bit, but there were those who would look down their noses at others who did things differently than they. There was one fellow from Steinway & Sons who managed to put it into perspective pretty well. He said, "It doesn't matter if you throw cucumbers at it, it's the end result that counts."

To every method, there are those for and against. The ultimate question is, "What are the end results?" What is right for you is what works for you.
