You're right, it's been nasty weather in lots of different places. We've had the hurricanes that came through this last season here in the southeast.
Sort of a "pick your poison" kind of thing deciding where you want to live.

This is our "nice" season in south Louisiana, a bit on the cool side today, but most days in the 60's or 70's. Now, come this summer, when it's 100 degrees out and 99% relative humidity with a hurricane brewing in the gulf, perhaps I'll wish I were in your neck of the woods. All the more incentive to aquire enough wealth that we can have "summer" and "winter" homes??? LOL!
