My profound apologies for the snafu Wednesday. I was in court all day Wednesday until about 3 pm. From then until about 8 pm I was with an investigation team from the court. During the course of the day, our financial records were reviewed, background checks were documented, each of the kids was interviewed for upwards of an hour each ... Jacki and I more. Grueling day to say the least. All this is prepatory for the hearing on permanent guardianship scheduled for July 12. Adding to the stress was that all this was unannounced to us. Surprise, surprise.
