Hi Joe,
Thanks for the great story about your home. What a neat history the place has. Our home was built in 1935 and was bought by my family in 1943. My grand parents, parents, my kids, and my wife and I, have all shared this home at one point or another. Our township was a gift to Mary Penn, wife of William(Billy)Penn, founder of Philadelphia. Our home is in a great, hilly, wooded area that was part of a huge old estate that was sold off many years ago. As for more history, a skirmish of the Battle of Germantown(Battle of Edge Hill) during the Revolutionary War, took place on our land. We've found bayonets, scabbards, and cannon balls from that battle. I just love it here, great oaks, tulip poplars, silver birch trees all over. Pa. is beautiful with rolling, wooded hills and farms through out the state, plus a lot of cool history.

Fourteen inches of snow is not too bad, we've had worse, that's for sure! Oh, the Naval Hospital is/was about 15 miles southwest of us.

Thanks for all of your informative posts and.....great trades to you!

Dave
