Actually Central Washington. The city here is about 5 miles away from the official center of the state. At least that's what I've been told. Also, if you just take a 10 minute drive here up the hill towards Waterville, what do you see? WHEAT, for miles and miles and miles and miles, lol. Then down by Quincy is nothing but potatoes and onions, Walla Wallas. Apples are starting to fade away, and large condo developments are taking over the orchards and building on where the orchard was.
