Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving everyone! One good thing about being a Canadian trading No rt h American markets is that I get to enjoy two Thanksgiving celebrations: this one in October an the American one in November. Good thing I like turkey! For those of you not celebrating Thanksgiving with me this weekend, Happy Columbus Day!

Did you know that the markets have a favourite number? Yep, it’s true. Very often the markets will tend to do things the same number of times. This means you can have a good idea when a trend might be coming to an end or how far a current move is likely to go. You’ll be surprised how much clearer the cha rt s become when you know about this “favourite” number.
