I'm hesitant to answer you because I have posted this response many times
over the years and I fear boring the rest of the visitors. So be it!

BS"D is the abreviation for B'Siyata Dshmaya, which is Aramaic for With the
Help of Heaven. It is our custom to put that at the top of everything we write.
In Hebrew letters it is rather elegant (See below). If you look at my site:

you will see it written in the uppper right corner of every page.

Note of interest: This annotation was written at the top of each
page in the rutters of Christopher Columbus. His famous journey
was in 1492, the year the Jews were expelled from Portugal and
Spain.

When I go out I wear a black fedora and I have a long (white) beard.
On my site and e-mail signature the beard is red because I used to
have a blond/red beard. LOL!
