Wait a minute... don't hope for Canada to go under... I live here! LOL!

Joking aside, Canada's government is no better or worse than any other. There are good and bad. The upshot for us is that since more "sensitive" industries (like banking) have to answer to the government, Canada's been more stable through this economic slump than most developed nations. Don't laugh. Other countries are taking notes of how to refine their banking systems to be more like ours!

Anyway, I looked into the other bribery claim and it seems to be a hoax. I can't find anything about it anywhere, and if it were true it would be all over the news.
