Yep, the only thing a strong dollar is good for is traveling; otherwise it's a real strain on a resourced based economy like Canada's. The upshot for us is that the Chinese have been picking up the slack from the softer US market. More and more raw materials are heading overseas so we can eventually buy them back.... :-(
