LOL! Funny, I thought of you when I posted that Todd! (I'm still waiting for Rob's dig... but he's waaaay east).

I came across it the other night while surfing and my wife and I both got a good chuckle out of it so I thought I'd post it.

Another funny thing about living out here is that no matter how long you've lived here, people almost always refer to you from where you came from. For example, we've lived here for 23 years, but since I'm originally from central Alberta, so some folks still consider me to be a "flat lander".

When we first moved here it seemed that nearly everyone was from somewhere else. Victoria was known as the place for the "newly wed and the nearly dead". I remember what a big surprise to meet a native Victorian, but now that a whole other generation has grown up, that's no longer the case.

It's a beautiful part of the world though. It sure has changed a lot since we've been here... but then again, what hasn't?
