I've been reading and reading. I think I'm ready to invest(flush) about $5000 into giving "swing" trading a try. I've been practicing with paper trades and have been doing well.

Just wanted to post to harvest any advice to newbies that anyone may have. It would be GREATLY appreciated.

Someone here wrote to me: "Start with one or two signals and be consistent with them". This rings true to me. I've applied that to candlestick patterns. I've been working on only a few and have beenmaking fake trades. Not doing bad either.

But any helpful websites (aside from this one) and beginner tips would be so very much appreciated.
