Is it just me, or are you getting tired of Political Correctness? All this PC stuff used to be a joke; however it’s not a laughing matter anymore. I mean this is Christmas but all the PC people are making “Christmas” a dirty word. It is not longer fashionable to wish someone a “Merry Christmas”. Instead we are told that we are to say “Happy Holidays” or “Seasons Greetings”. Even Santa isn’t allowed to say “HoHoHo!” anymore as someone figured, if you can believe it, this would be a slanderous reference to prostitutes.

Sorry, but that just doesn’t ring true with me.

Funny thing is that people who are “supposed” to be offended by the Christmas Holiday rarely are. I mean the whole PC idea is that we don’t offend people of other religions. My Jewish friends certainly aren’t offended when I wish them a Merry Christmas and neither am I offended when they wish me a Happy Hanukah. I mean, why would I be? I respect them and they respect me. After all, it’s not like they just flipped me off or told me to go pound sand!

It seems to me that the only people that are truly offended by Christmas are the ones who do not believe in anything. Political correctness is the language of cowardice and I for one refuse to participate. So on that note, on behalf of Shaggy and myself, I hope that you and your family enjoy a very Merry Christmas!
