... was a big ol' nasty loser in Silver. Why might you ask, would a loser be the best trade of the day? There are two reasons in this case. Firstly, I was wrong, I made a mistake and corrected it before it became a catastrophy - which it would have. Silver moved over 50 cents against my original entry... I got out with only a 4.5 cent loss. This is my "learn to love a loss" lesson at work. Secondly, my "being in a losing trade keeps you from being in a winning trade" lesson paid off in spades. After taking my 675.00 dollar drubbing in Silver, I promptly went long the Euro and bagged a $1,200.00 winner! Bottom line: NEVER fear a losing trade. Take the hit, and jam your next signal. Remember, that was only one trade of the next 10,000 you will make over your trading career; not worth the energy to even dwell on it for more than a minute or two.
