Thanks and sure all appreciate it, Shifu.

With that comment. You can see we both use the pattern. I use two chart sizes like he does to help with direction.

I like trend lines for market direction and waves. I put a few on the chart so one can get an idea of how I use them.

I use bars that are about 1-3 minute long but created by x amount of trades made. At night it may take an hour to form a bar that during the day---takes two minutes.

I just use lines to identify up or down. Or what I call a fail safe line.

That is if I do not see another signal before the market crosses the line. The line is fail safe and exits my trade. Time to look for another.

Here is my summation for the day. The first trade shown not taken--night time.

At the red 1--I was exited by line. Then just right of their tried to buy and put fifty in operational capital.

At the red -2---I did a reversal and then the market went more then one point and operational funding.

Then the double top---which is really a funny looking one now as I look back--there went emergency operational costs of fifty anyhow--unforgiving. Just prior to that the line gave an exit of that trade.

So that makes four wins/three losses. W/L .571 or batting average

Profits: $1350
Losses:$150 P/L=.730 or it costs .270 of every dollar to
produce this product.

Risk: $35(the money lost divided by number of profitable
trades-this is true risk).

Reward: $337.50 (average profit per successful trade) R/R=1:9.64

Think about this. If your W/L and P/L were .500 you go broke. Does not matter what your risk to reward is. Reducing your risk may help--only if your W/L does not change.

So if one adds W/L & P/L and they get 1.000 they lose. And a perfect score would be 2.00. I like 1.500 or better for a goal.

Many put emphasis on R/R which in reality is deceiving. W/L and P/L will show the problems of R/R and not the other way around.

Good trades to all.
