Spring has sprung,
the grass is 'riz.
Does anyone know,
where my golfball is?
The moment has finally come and I can hardly wait. After a long, cold, wet winter this weekend I get to head out to the golf course again. It’s been a long time for me since I played last. Usually we can get out a few times during the winter months, but not this year. I think this winter has been hard throughout North America, and I for one are happy to see the end of it.
Spring’s a wonderful time of the year. The trees are budding, flowers are blooming, the birds are singing – everything is alive! Winter has it’s upside, especially if you like winter sports, but I’m not a big fan of snow and cold, which is why I live as far west and south as you can get in Canada!
I do try to enjoy every day however. A few years back Eddie Murphy did a movie called “Holy Man”. It was a story about a yogi-guru type who helped some nose-to-the-grindstone get some focus back in their lives. There’s a line in the move where Eddie Murphy’s character says something to the effect of: if you live to be 75 years old that means you only see 75 winters, 75 springs, 75 summers and 75 falls.
Of course most of us are halfway through our allotment before any of this begins to hit home, but it really makes you think, doesn’t it?
I suppose that’s one reason I tried so hard to crack the trading puzzle. I knew there had to be a way to do it. I knew that this could be a way to improve my life – and hopefully yours too.
