Actually I'm still in almost daily contact with many former students (friends.) We're trading stocks and gone on a cruise or two. Nothing educational, just comparing ideas and opportunities.
Was doing great like so many others until the market crashed last summer but now it's just a matter of guarding assets until she turns around.
I'm watching these new commodity ETF's now being traded through the stock market but until volume picks up I'm sidelining.
My main markets are AUY, PAAS, SLW, SLV, JKD, VTI and the energies.
DOW 8000 which we all thought was pretty solid support was gut shot yesterday. Cost me nearly $900 dang it.

I spend my off time shark fishing, panning for gold in North Georgia creeks, buying and reselling boats.
Amber won a Budweiser contest and is going skiing in Vail mid month. Now that they have seen her they are making moves to enlist her as a spokesperson. She's happy about that but get's her 4 yr. degree's next summer with dual majors of accounting and biz admin. She wants to work for a resort someplace exotic. Most proud of her.
Several former students have moved from the USA. Can't blame them.
