There are many excellent trading methodologies, with a variety of very different attitudes to items #2 and #4. It is a common adage that a good trader will profit even with a weak system, but a poor trader will not profit even with the best system.

What is the key word that I missed in your advice? Though it may have been implicit, "DISCIPLINE" is the most important single characteristic necessary to succeed as a Pro Trader.

Having worked with hundreds of traders, I feel safe to flatly state that without discipline, as a trader you are doomed. As a day trader, without discipline, you are doomed faster!
