These are timing systems I am testing out based on movement of the SPY and RUT charts. THEY ARE NOT ACTUAL TRADES PLACED IN ANY MARKET. They are system signals to HYPOTHETICALLY go long, short, place stops and exit that long or short. ALL RESULTS ARE HYPOTHETICAL AND DO NOT REPRESENT ANY ACTUAL RESULTS USING REAL MONEY.

Let's put a little spin on it. I'll take the next minute's price rather than the minute of the post. That would negate me waiting a minute to see where price had already gone before placing the post. I'm not sure what the result will be.

On the stop side, should I use the stop from THAT price or my original. Hmmmm. Same stop would increase the size of stops if hit skewing the risk to reward, but taking the stop from the late price may increase the loss frequency.

This may also show practical application of the signals.

RESULT: 0 points

5.)2:16 pm LONG, ESZ8 at 831.25.
2:20 pm EXIT, ESZ8 at 833.50.
RESULT: GAIN OF 2.25 points.

6.)2:21 pm LONG, ESZ8 at 836.25.
2:22 pm RISK one point, ESZ8 at 837.00.
2:23 pm MOVE STOP to entry, ESZ8 at 837.25.
STOPS HELD.
2:26 pm TARGET CHANGED EXIT NOW, ESZ8 at 839.50.
RESULT: GAIN OF 3.25 points.

HYPOTHETICAL GROSS GAIN OF 17.00 points.

Dare I postulate a positive day for even a UMT?
Maybe not.

Hmmmm, since we're in "late", let's check the heat on each hypothetical position. "Heat"
being the farthest price moved AGIANST the supposed position.

#2 824.25 = 1.00 points.
