Forbes just released the list of billionaires and our buddy Warren Buffet has claimed the numero uno position. Bill Gates, the former #1, has slid to third place ... but what's a billion here or there?
A couple of interesting tidbits: over half of the billionaires made their fortunes in the investment arena, so keep studying those charts! The other interesting snippet was how many billionaires come from outside of the US. America still produces the most billionaires in the world; however India has 4 out of the top 10. India?! Yep, took me by surprise too. The second richest man in the world comes from Mexico.
Not quite what you would expect from places normally considered part of the third world.
