Interesting. In spite of the wild price swings, commodities (on an annual basis) are less volatile than stocks. It's an interesting perspective. I keep forgetting about all those Chinese wanting "stuff". Not only them, but there's about a gazillion Indians hot on their heels.

A friend recently told me about a visit to India. When he was there 5 years ago there were about 50 cars parked outside the building he was staying at. This visit it was more like 250! The fellow he was staying with said he was going to buy a car as well. My friend told him that he was perfectly fine taking the bus and taxi's and not to go through the expense for him! To this the fellow responded that he wanted a car anyway... it was a status symbol.

That's all well and good. The but kicker is this guy didn't even have a driver's license.

I hope there's enough to go around! Better go any buy more CFL's for the lights!
